𓍤 絲路上的手工藝：走進烏茲別克與蘇扎尼

鳳甲美術館很高興邀請目前居住於台灣、來自日本的藝術工作者山名祭里，以其纖維藝術的專業與絲路旅行經驗，帶領大家走進位於絲路中心的烏茲別克。
講座將從她的旅行經驗出發，分享走訪撒馬爾罕、布哈拉與希瓦三座歷史古城的見聞，介紹融合東西方文化的城市風貌、建築特色與飲食文化，並探討絲路如何形塑今日烏茲別克的文化樣貌。
此外，講座也將聚焦於烏茲別克最具代表性的傳統刺繡──蘇扎尼（Suzani）。這項工藝長期在家庭與地方社群中世代傳承，也逐漸成為女性重要的工作與收入來源，並持續發展至當代工藝與視覺藝術之中。透過講者自當地帶回的布料與工藝品，帶領大家近距離的認識烏茲別克的文化底蘊與手工藝魅力。
𓍤 講者介紹
山名祭里
現居台灣，從事策展與藝術計劃專案。畢業於國立臺北藝術大學藝術創意研究國際學程（IMCCI）碩士班。曾任職於森美術館及「愛知三年展2019」，現主要參與當代藝術展覽企劃、研究與國際合作計畫。此外，她也經營飾品品牌「Jili」，運用日本傳統織品製作過程中留下的餘線進行創作，並持續研究亞洲當代藝術、工藝與文化交流。

Hong-Gah Museum is delighted to welcome Matsuri Yamana, a Japanese art practitioner currently based in Taiwan, to share her expertise in fiber art and her travels along the Silk Road through Uzbekistan.
Drawing on her journey across this country at the heart of the Silk Road, the lecture explores the historic cities of Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, introducing their distinctive urban landscapes, architecture, and food culture while considering how the Silk Road continues to shape Uzbekistan's cultural identity today.
Special attention will be given to Suzani embroidery, one of Uzbekistan's most representative textile traditions. Passed down through families and local communities for generations, Suzani has become an important source of work and income for women while continuing to find new expression in contemporary craft and visual art. Through textiles, handicrafts, and other objects collected during her journey, participants will gain a closer understanding of Uzbekistan's rich cultural heritage and the enduring appeal of its handicraft traditions.
𓍤 About the Speaker
𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐢 𝐘𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚
Curator and art coordinator based in Taiwan. Holds a master's degree from the International Master of the Arts Program in Cultural and Creative Industries (IMCCI) at Taipei National University of the Arts. After working at Mori Art Museum and Aichi Triennale 2019, has been involved in organizing contemporary art exhibitions, conducting research, and coordinating international projects. Also runs Jili, an accessories brand that uses leftover threads from traditional Japanese textiles, while pursuing research on Asian contemporary art, craft, and cultural exchange.
