The Snail and the Whale show us a restless young snail who has ambitions to travel the world. The other snails think she should stay put, but she puts out a call for a “Lift wanted around the world”. Eventually her call is answered by a great big grey-blue humpback whale! She sets off with him across the seas. On their journey the Snail and the Whale discover towering icebergs and far-off lands, fiery mountains and golden sands. When the whale gets confused by noisy motorboats zooming on the surface, he loses his way in the shallows and ends up beached in an isolated bay. It’s down to the tiny snail to rescue the powerless whale.
麥克思・朗 Max Lang
兩度入圍奧斯卡金像獎、並獲英國影藝學院獎肯定的導演。他曾為製作發行公司Magic Light Pictures共同執導獲獎無數的動畫電影《咕嚕牛》與《飛天掃帚五人行》，並執導Nickelodeon的聖誕特別篇《Albert》。此外，他亦曾擔任卡通頻道《阿甘妙世界》第一季的副導演。
Max Lang is a two-time Oscar nominated direcot who has also won a BAFTA. He jointly directed the award-winning animated films THE GRUFFALO and ROOM ON THE BROOM for Magic Light Pictures as well as the animated Christmas special ALBERT for Nickelodeon. He was Assistant Director on the first season of THE AMAZING WORLD OF GUMBALL for Cartoon Network.
丹尼爾．斯納登 Daniel SNADDON

Daniel Snaddon studied computer graphics at Boston Media House in Johannesburg before transferring to Griffith University in Brisbane where he learned to animate with pencil and paper in the sweltering Queensland heat. Daniel's previous work with Magic Light Pictures includes co-directing STICK MAN, working as animation supervisor on REVOLTING RHYMES, and as storyboard artist & animator on THE HIGHWAY RAT.

Tiddler, the tale of a little fish with a big imagination. Every day he creates a new story to entertain his classmates, and especially his best friend Johnny Dory. One morning, while dreaming up his latest story, Tiddler gets lost in the middle of the ocean. He has no hope of getting home until he hears a familiar story and is saved by his own storytelling.
亞歷克斯・貝恩 Alex BAIN

Alex is a director, art director and digital artist, born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. With a strong background in 3D animation, he is a well-rounded artist specializing in layout, texturing, and shading. With over eight years in the animation industry, Alex made his directorial debut with Tiddler, which premiered in Christmas 2024.

Andy Martin has been creating character-driven animations infused with humour and musical sensibility since 2001. In recent years, Andy Martin has been developing various long-form projects with Big Fat Studio and Baby Cow. This led to a collaboration with Magic Light on the BBC animated special Tiddler, an adaptation of the much-loved children’s book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.
