Participants will explore what stress really is, how it functions in the body and mind, and the ways it can affect both physical and mental health. The session breaks down the physiological and psychological mechanisms of stress in a clear, accessible way, connecting science with real-life experiences.
In this workshop, participants will:
- Gain a clearer understanding of what stress is and how it impacts the body and mind
- Learn the physiological and psychological mechanisms behind everyday stress
- Recognize how ongoing stress can affect general and mental health
- Explore practical, evidence-informed tools for managing stress and building resilience
- Take part in reflection, discussion, and Q&A in a supportive, small-group setting
The workshop includes an interactive opening activity and concludes with time for questions and shared learning.
We encourage participants to complete a short, anonymous pre-event survey, which will help the facilitator shape the session and better respond to participants’ shared needs.
