三位創作者以個人生命經驗與夢境想像為基底，自日常生活中汲取對情感、空間與聲響的觀察，轉化成為作品中的感知印象，結合現場表演、影像與聲音創作鋪排敘事，透過現實與虛擬的交織，呈現一段穿越內心的旅程；觀者將成為旅程的見證者，體驗一場聚光燈下的凝視，跟隨時空變化，感受青年在追求歸屬的過程中經歷的嘗試、失落與失去。
《他在他方》是一則關於歸屬的寓言，是由觀者、劇場空間與虛擬世界共同編織的一部當代社會的浮生錄。
His Elsewhere is a theatrical work that merges live performance with Augmented Reality (AR). Audiences are invited to wear VR headsets and move through the space to navigate between the virtual and real worlds. The story centers on a young man whose journey home is marked by warmth and heaviness portraying his longing for and disorientation around a sense of belonging.
Based on the three creators’personal experiences, dreams, and imaginations, this piece transforms everyday observations of emotions, spaces, and sounds into sensory impressions on stage. The narrative unfolds through an interplay of live performance and audiovisual creation, leading the audiences on an inner journey. As witnesses, they experience the gaze under spotlight, follow the passage of time and space, and perceive the protagonist’s attempts, losses and yearning in his pursuit of belonging.
His Elsewhere is an allegory of belonging—a contemporary chronicle woven together by the audience, the theatrical space, and the virtual world.
