Co-creation and dialogue between musicians and AI - Shuanghsi Music Forum🌼
隨著生成式人工智慧技術的快速發展，AI 在音樂創作上的應用日益廣泛，為作曲家帶來更廣闊的創作可能性。本計畫作曲家將直接參與與 AI 的互動，結合兩種先進的 AI 音樂生成工具——Somax 2 與 Suno，展開跨越人類與機器的創作實驗，探索藝術與科技共構的新型音樂形式。
Somax 2 為法國 IRCAM 所研發的 AI 人工智慧程式，透過其即時反應引擎與生成模型，以即興方式在演奏過程中不斷跟上現場音樂家與之緊密互動；音樂家和機器的相互聆聽和調適，將產生非常具創意性與實驗性的音樂組合。
Suno，以 AI 生成技術來創作一系列的協奏曲作品。作曲家根據 AI 所生成的伴奏架構，親自譜寫獨奏聲部，與 AI 伴奏進行對話，共同構成一首具有藝術深度與技術探索意義的現代協奏曲作品。
開啟人類與人工智慧共同創作的全新視野，邀請觀眾一同見證音樂未來的無限。
With the rapid development of generative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, AI is being applied in music more extensively, offering composers a broader range of creative possibilities. For the present project, the composers engage directly in AI-based interaction by combining two advanced tools for AI-generated music—Somax 2 and Suno—to conduct creative experimentations that transcend boundaries between human and machine, exploring new musical forms co-constructed by art and technology.
Somax 2, developed by IRCAM in France, is an AI software featuring a real-time response engine and a generative model. It enables close interaction with live musicians through improvisations that evolve in dialogue with the performer’s gestures and sounds. This process of mutual listening and adaptation between human and machine gives rise to highly creative and experimental musical combinations.
With Suno, generative AI techniques are used to create a series of concertos. Based on AI-generated accompaniment structures, the composer writes solo parts that converse with the machine’s sound world, shaping a modern concerto that intertwines artistic depth with technological innovation.
This project opens a new horizon co-created by humans and AI, inviting audiences to experience the boundless future of music.
